The office of Toastmaster originates in Ancient times and is a tradition unique to England.
Today the role of Toastmaster is still an exacting art – that of co-ordinator – Master of Ceremonies – Announcer – and Presenter – responsible for maintaining Etiquette and Protocol; for all special occasions.

 Liaising function organisers/ caterers/ photographers/ video recordist. - Making sure the seating plan is easily visible.
- Assisting with the receiving line & announcing your guests
- Leading in the Bride & Groom and saying the Grace (if required)
- Introducing the speakers in the correct order
- Ensuring flowers & presentation gifts are available when required
- Making other announcements re safety, camera & smoking etc.
- Choreographing the cutting of the cake
- Being available for advice and help gained from a wealth of experience
